April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. CPS and Professionals Incorporated are proud to support the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center in their Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to draw awareness to child abuse and neglect and increase child abuse education and prevention.  This is an issue that eventually affects every company or their employees in some way. In the United States, a report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds. One out of every ten children will be sexually abused before they reach age 18. More than ninety percent of children know the person who abused them.

Our President, Laurie Liechty, is an active board member of the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center and she would like to encourage you to also participate in this campaign by purchasing pinwheels and planting them outside your office building or displaying them in your lobby and throughout your workplace.  Over time, as people see these pinwheels, we hope they will see a symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention.

Pinwheel items for sale include a pinwheel lapel pin for $5.00, a box of 12 pinwheels for $20.00, a pinwheel wreath for $50.00, and a pinwheel flower pot for $100.00.
